Cyber Defence Analyst

As a Cyber Defence Analyst you will join the Cyber Fusion Center, performing in-depth analysis, assessment, and response to security threats. You will be responsible for receiving, prioritizing, investigating, containing, eradicating, and recovering from security events impacting Experian.

• Oversee daily security operations and respond to alerts for cyber threats and incidents.
• Analyze events using SIEM, EDR, and other tooling; assess risk and severity; elevate higher‑risk events.
• Collaborate with incident response teams and external stakeholders for resolution.
• Document incidents, maintain case notes, and support post‑incident lessons learned.
• Improve SOPs, SOP and training materials and suggest enhancements to use cases.

• Experience in a Security Operations Center or Cyber Security Incident Response team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; professional certification (e.g., GCIH, CEH) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Incident Response Lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and related frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Qradar), EDR (Crowd Strike, Microsoft Defender), and SOAR platforms.
• Exposure to Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking technologies.

• Packet analysis, forensic, and malware reverse engineering skills.
• Network forensics, event monitoring, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing concepts.
• Automation scripting and SOAR orchestration.
