Role summary

Help us build the future of real‑time news delivery and join a team powering the heartbeat of global information! LSEG’s News Engineering group is looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to support high‑performing, cross‑functional teams, ensuring flow from inception through delivery. You’ll help teams plan, prioritise, and refine work to enable high‑quality product and technical outcomes. You need to value and support good quality engineering and be able to influence our teams and partners towards a more agile way of working.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with engineering teams to define solutions and implement plans, including identifying and mitigating risks
  • Define and report on achievements and provide regular updates to senior team members
  • Lead cross‑functional working groups with engineering and product teams, as well as external partners, to ensure alignment and progress
  • Participate in News annual budget planning alongside senior News leaders and finance team
  • Track and forecast key financial metrics against targets, applying insights from the business to make recommendations to optimally manage budget across the portfolio
  • Communicate sophisticated technical information accurately and concisely in audience appropriate format
  • Identify improvements for intake and planning process and provide mentorship and guidance to implement
What you’ll bring
  • Significant experience leading Agile projects in a multi‑team environment and a track record of delivering projects using Agile methods
  • Profound understanding of the complexities of software development or experience in project management
  • Excellent planning and agile coaching skills
  • Resilient – outcome and delivery focused with the ability to operate in a sophisticated, fast‑paced environment
  • Upbeat and driven – a self‑starter, able to work autonomously with a can‑do attitude, outcome focused, and ability to inspire others
