Principal​/Senior Lead DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform

Principal / Senior Lead Dev Ops Engineer – you will set the vision and strategy for building scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that power global LSEG Risk Intelligence products. Your responsibilities include defining release architecture, influencing technology direction, and leading transformational initiatives across our cloud‑native infrastructure.

• Own the release & deployment architecture and roadmap for cloud‑native infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Design and implement enterprise‑grade automation frameworks using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Git Lab workflows.
• Set standards for CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams, driving best practices for secure and rapid delivery.
• Lead Kubernetes platform strategy (Amazon EKS, Istio Service Mesh) for service‑oriented architectures and multi‑region deployments.
• Champion Site Reliability Engineering principles, defining observability, reliability, and incident response strategies.
• Influence technology adoption, evaluating emerging tools and practices to enhance developer experience and operational excellence.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives and product roadmaps.

• Cloud platforms:
  AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, Cloud Front, IAM, Cloud Watch, etc.)

  Git Ops, SRE principles, Agile methodologies

• 8+ years in Dev Ops or platform engineering, with 3+ years in senior leadership or principal‑level roles.
• Proven experience architecting and operating cloud‑native platforms at enterprise scale.
• Ability to influence technology strategy and drive adoption across multiple teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for innovation, automation, and developer enablement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Shape the technical vision for cloud‑native infrastructure across the organization.
• Influence senior stakeholders and executives, ensuring Dev Ops strategy aligns with business priorities.
• Drive cultural transformation, embedding Dev Ops and SRE principles across engineering teams.
• Act as a thought leader, representing the organization in internal forums and external communities.
• Enable scale, ensuring platforms support global growth and innovation.
