AboutThe Role
Are you passionate about making a difference for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Alternative Education and Short Breaks Brokerage Service.
As Team Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of children, young people, and their families. You will play a key role in service planning, staff development, budget management and statutory data returns, all while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of frontline and professional staff to achieve service targets and deliver excellent outcomes.
- Resolve service delivery issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Supervise, support, and develop staff, fostering a culture of high performance and ambition.
- Manage and deploy assigned budgets, taking corrective action as needed.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Oversee the safe commissioning of services and ensure best value for money.
- Monitor and report on service performance, including statutory data returns.
