This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. We provide full, comprehensive relocation support to ensure your move is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Monday to Thursday 8am – 6:15pm or Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm

We are currently seeking a Sewing Machinist to join our client, a respected and well-established family-run UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke protective covers for vehicles — including cars, caravans, motorcycles, and more. Duties:

* Produce protective covers for cars and caravans as an industrial sewing machinist.

* Work with heavy-duty and waterproof materials.

* Operate Flatbed/Walking Foot Machines, Lapping Machine, PLK Machine, Heat Sealer.

* Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Requirements:

* At least 3 years’ recent experience sewing heavy fabrics on an industrial flatbed machine

* Experience with the following machines is desirable:
Lapping Machine, PLK Machine, Heat Sealer.

* Industrial sewing experience

* Good communication skills

* Confidence to speak up and ask questions

* Hard-working, flexible, and proactive attitude

* Good English language skills, both written and verbal.
