Job Summary

To set and operate a range of CNC‑controlled machinery within the company, ensuring production meets required specifications and quality standards.

Starting rate varies dependant on experience from circa £43,500 –£54,500 per annum (inclusive of 35% shift premium). Overtime: 1.5x standard hourly rate Monday–Saturday, 2.0x on Sundays. Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, 12‑hour shifts (30‑minute unpaid break). Bonus: £2.00 per combined hour if operating multiple machines.

• Set and operate CNC machines, including:

• MCM Tank 1600 MP10 (10 pallets)
• Produce precision machined components and tooling items to specification.
• Perform quality checks throughout batch cycles.
• Accurately record quantities and time allocation using company systems.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance as per schedules.
• Carry out any other duties within the scope of the role as requested by Senior Management.

• The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5‑axis machines, dealing with Aluminium, Steel and Titanium components to tight tolerances.
• Must have a good level of understanding in using either Fanuc / Heidenheim / Mazatrol / Siemens machine control systems, and also be willing to develop further CNC machining skills and abilities.
• Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
