About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll ensure operations run smoothly. This hands-on role requires technical skills and responsibility for your area, with opportunities for career development within our state-of-the-art environment.

Your responsibilities
  • Ensure the line hits its hourly targets, setting up and running equipment to maximize performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns or setup issues, using root cause analysis and implementing fixes efficiently
  • Maintain plant and machinery to high standards through PPM
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts
  • Proactively improve line performance through innovation and teamwork
  • Manage maintenance schedules to maximize service levels
  • Perform condition-based maintenance to minimize service impact
Working Hours

You’ll work an average of 39 hours per week, with a flex 4 contract allowing for different shift patterns, including 3-shift and continental shifts (four on, four off). We aim to accommodate your preferred shift, depending on business needs.

The experience we're looking for
  • Level 3 engineering or maintenance qualification
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, thriving in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical machinery
  • Respond urgently to problems but plan routine tasks and preventative maintenance
  • Effective communication skills, influencing and informing others
  • Innovative mindset, challenging the status quo
