Production Operative

A a well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production Operative to support the safe and efficient output of high-quality products.

This role plays an important part in maintaining production standards, contributing to continuous improvement activities, and supporting day-to-day factory operations across a rotating shift pattern.

£32,800 (Inc. Shift Allowance)

Nottingham (On-site)

Shift Pattern
Weekly rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 (mornings), 14:00–22:00 (afternoons), 22:00–06:00 (nights)

Production Operative
Responsibilities:

Follow all site safety rules, policies and legal requirements (including COSHH and Health & Safety at Work Act).

Maintain compliance with BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN 9100 standards.

Operate production equipment efficiently while reducing waste and cost.

Support ongoing improvements to products, processes, and procedures.

Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, orderliness, and equipment care.

Assist with general factory duties across the site & contribute to site security as required.

Participate in all training provided by the company.

Support Team Leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth shift operations.
Production Operative
Requirements:

Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Basic numeracy & computer literacy skills.

Able to work effectively in a team and independently once trained.
