Kitchen Manager – Slim Chickens, Nottingham

We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager who can lead, inspire and deliver high‑quality southern‑inspired chicken while upholding the highest standards of food preparation, hygiene and safety. As a part of Boparan Restaurant Group, you’ll join a team committed to building credibility, delivering memorable guest experiences and fostering a supportive working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Maintain food preparation, presentation and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies and control food costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to drive restaurant success.
  • Create a positive and motivating work environment in the kitchen.
  • Handle kitchen‑related issues promptly and resolve them effectively.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a kitchen manager in a fast‑paced restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • A passion for cooking and delivering consistently great food.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high‑energy environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
