Working hours: Full time 37 hours per week

Salary: Starting £46,142 (Level one) rising to £49,282 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part-time)

As a Social Worker in the first response service, you will be responsible for ensuring that children and families receive the right support at the right time through strengths based assessment, working in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub or Duty Assessment Service.

• Conduct strengths‑based assessment of children and families.
• Coordinate with multi‑agency partners to provide timely support.
• Provide reflective supervision and maintain manageable caseloads.
• Support resilience and well‑being of children and families.

• Professional Social Work Qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Direct experience working with children in a childcare setting.
• Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and multi‑agency working.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
