About the Role

We are currently seeking a Wash Operative to join our team at our Hartshill site. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning trailers, vehicles, and factory transport to a high standard for daily use and MOT preparation, while ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Clean the inside and outside of trailers, vehicles, and factory transport to a high standard

Tip and clean ReFood (food waste) bins

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the wash bay area

Carry out general hygiene and housekeeping duties within the garage

Support site operations with ad-hoc duties as required by management

Work safely at all times, following health and safety procedures

Ability to prioritise workload and escalate issues when necessary

Desirable:

Previous experience working in a factory or yard environment

Interaction with drivers, operatives, team leaders, site staff, and the transport department
