• Manage and oversee complex cases to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.
• Provide specialist advice, supervision, and support to social workers and support staff.
• Work collaboratively with families and carers, empowering them in the decision-making process.
• Mentor students and trainees, contributing to the development of future practitioners.
• Offer consultancy across services for challenging cases and practice issues.
• Support case management and quality assurance processes to uphold high standards.
• Demonstrate exemplary social work values and practice, leading by example.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to court documentation when required.
• Represent the council in multi-agency meetings and build strong inter-agency relationships.
• Stay up to date with emerging legislation to ensure practice is compliant and current.
