Remote Construction Site Supervisor

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote Construction Site Supervisor to remotely oversee construction activities in Welkom . While the role is fully remote, you will be instrumental in ensuring project timelines, quality, and safety standards are met by coordinating effectively with on-site teams and project managers. This unique position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple remote workflows efficiently.

You will leverage technology to monitor progress, facilitate problem-solving, and maintain high standards of execution for projects across the Free State , bridging the gap between remote oversight and on-site realities.

• Remotely monitor construction site progress, productivity, and quality using project management software and communication tools.
• Coordinate daily activities of on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers via virtual meetings and digital platforms.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards, documenting any non-compliance.
• Review and approve work logs, progress reports, and material delivery schedules submitted by site personnel.
• Facilitate remote problem-solving sessions to address challenges encountered on site.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities, communications, and decisions for compliance and reporting purposes.

• Proven experience in construction supervision, site management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control principles.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage tasks remotely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at using virtual collaboration tools.
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital reporting platforms.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
