American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby position requiring a compact or WV RN license and NRP certification.
Details- Acute care Level 1 Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby unit
- Cares for women and children until stable to remain or be transferred
- Average of 20 deliveries per month
- Uses EPIC EMR
- 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Active RN license (Compact or West Virginia) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE
- BSN not required for this position
- Copy of unexpired driver's license required for consideration
- Provide labor and delivery and mother-baby nursing care within an acute care setting
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Local candidates will not be considered for this position
- Travelers must take a 2-year break before returning to any WVU Medicine facility
- Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year without taking a 2-year break
- All candidates interview directly with the unit manager
