Position Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Corporate Accountant to join a public accounting firm in Oakville, ON on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records and accounts of corporate clients. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for corporate clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Provide guidance and support to clients on financial matters, including tax strategies and compliance
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of client projects
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in accounting practices and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with corporate clients
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis
• Proficient in accounting software, such as Quick Books, Caseware, Tax Prep etc
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with Caseware and Taxprep software is an asset
