GP Practicing in Dermatology

We are looking for Family Medicine Physicians specializing in Dermatology to join our growing team in Oakville, Ontario.

This position would entail full time, 5-day per week clinical work.

While having previous dermatology training or experience is preferred, we also offer training opportunities for those interested.

The GP/Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide professional patient care always and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients
• Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes
• Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
• Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care
• Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care
• Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company
• Adhere to company policies and protocols
• Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees

Requirements:

• Current College of Physicians of Ontario (CPSO) License
• A strong passion for the cosmetic dermatology field
• Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required
• Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required
• Newer graduates welcome to apply
