We currently have an opportunity for an Expert Technique – Développement ABAP.

This role is based at our Nun’s Island office in Verdun, QC, reporting to the Manager – Technical Expert.

The Expert Technique – ABAP is responsible for all software development activities related to SAP ABAP. This role involves collaboration with global ABAP, SAP CPI, and FIORI teams, translating complex business requirements into SAP solutions, and acting as a technical resource throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing SAP ABAP solutions, supporting live systems, participating in projects, and collaborating with business and technical teams. Opportunities for professional growth and knowledge expansion are available, including training and mentorship.

• Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP/Fiori/BTP extensions.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation.
• Develop custom applications using ABAP, ABAP-OO, CDS views, OData, and other SAP technologies.
• Design and develop SAP HANA native applications and perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Stay updated on SAP technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver solutions.

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• 3-5 years of recent experience in SAPUI5/Fiori development, including backend configuration.
• Experience with S/4
  
  HANA, SAP BTP, CAP, and Fiori.
• Strong skills in OO ABAP, REST, AMDP, CDS views, and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Proficiency with development environments like SAP Business Application Studio, Visual Studio, or Eclipse.
• Understanding of functional areas such as RTR, PTP, EWM, Manufacturing, and OTC.
• Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
