LPN Opportunity At The Vines Hospital

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL, is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults in a secure and private setting. Our services for individuals include specialty programs for active duty military and Veterans. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

The Vines is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our nursing department. The LPN will have medication/treatment responsibilities to include ensuring all medications are administered safely and as scheduled. Direct patient care, assisting with meals and daily activities. Change of shift reporting, charting and participation in groups. Patient education is also a key duty as well as appropriate documentation, safety and to providing each patient with a therapeutic and rehabilitative environment.

The LPN records medication variances for investigation by the RN. Assists with completion of medication recapitulation. Assists with completion of treatments as needed. Report unusual findings to the charge nurse. LPNs also assist staff during a crisis situation and intervenes as needed.

Education and Experience:

Must possess a valid LPN license or Registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida. Minimum one - two years experience as a LPN in a hospital or other healthcare facility.
