As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Badge Control in Oceanside, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned healthcare and research facility areas, including buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
