As a Mechatronics Engineer
, you will develop, implement, and improve processes that reduce labor costs and automate operations to improve safety, quality, and delivery. You will design and support automated assembly and test equipment, integrate electro‑mechanical systems, program and validate production automation, and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.

• Specify and design automated assembly and test equipment
• Integrate electro‑mechanical automation equipment into existing production lines
• Design and build mechanical jigs and fixtures
• Set up, program, and validate production automation equipment
• Provide design for assembly automation recommendations
• Continuously improve production assembly equipment
• Create design documents for mechanical parts and final products
• Select tools and materials for the manufacturing process
• Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network and stay current

• BEng in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent mechanical/electronic engineering qualification
• 2+ years of experience in production line automation within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills
• Kaizen / continuous improvement experience
• Programming and debugging experience with robotic controls
• PLC and automation controls experience an advantage
• Ability to work independently or within a team with strong communication skills
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office, PC subsystems)
• Solid Works mechanical CAD experience
• Mechanical fitting and assembly experience
• Self‑starter with a passion for engineering
• Understanding of quality processes, error proofing, and continuous improvement techniques
• Pneumatics control automation
