Production Operative

Overview

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for our client based in Shaw, OL2
. Our client is a well-established paper manufacturer and supplier of high-quality paper hygiene and wiping products.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous production or packing experience looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Operating production machinery
• Monitoring the production process to ensure it runs smoothly
• Packing finished products on the packing line
• Ensuring quality and safety standards are met at all times

• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience on production lines is preferred
• Skilled packing experience is highly desirable
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work rotating shifts

This role involves rotating shifts across 3 shift patterns:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:00pm – 6:00am

Shift patterns include:

• Monday to Friday – Days
• Sunday to Thursday – Nights

• Day Shift: £12.21 per hour
• Night Shift: £12.81 per hour
• Overtime: Potential weekend overtime paid at 1.5x
• Position is Temp to Perm for the right candidates.
