Practice Nurse

Duties

• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop effective treatment plans.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care protocols.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for accurate data entry and retrieval.

• GCSE grade A-C
• Nursing Registration
• Cytology Certificate
• Chronic Disease Management
• Travel Imms (not essential)

• Minimum of 1 year experience working at a GP practice.
