Position: Deputy Team Manager (Adolescent Support)

Working within Oldham s Adolescent Support team you will lead a family work team focused on adolescents and their families, ensuring high-quality, preventative interventions that reduce escalation to statutory services.

Responsibilities
  • To lead the service through effective supervision and identification of priorities to undertake direct work with children, young people, their families, schools/settings and health partners.
  • To support the Team Manager in ensuring the quality and timeliness of the team s work, including responsiveness of service delivery, standards of case recording, and in particular meeting deadlines and standards for statutory and court directed work.
  • To manage and motivate members of the team supervising casework and providing support and challenge in order to develop practice and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
  • To build strong relationships with schools, health services, youth justice, voluntary agencies and RISE to ensure the appropriate delivery of family support for adolescents and their families.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working within a multi-agency environment and building and sustaining working relationships across a range of services and partners.
  • Strong organisation skills, with ability to effectively prioritise and manage own caseloads as well as being able to support other staff in managing their own caseloads.
  • Ability to analyse service data in order to assess performance and inform service improvement.
