Application Developer

What You Will Do

• Build scalable web and core systems for SIX’s Post-Trading business, focusing on robust architecture and efficient implementation.
• Modernize and maintain existing enterprise applications and web services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to define solutions and maintain technical documentation.
• Perform reviews, enforce best practices, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Promote automation in development processes, including CI / CD pipelines, and foster open communication within the team.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Strong skills in Java (OpenJDK), Spring Boot, and Angular; experienced with Open Shift, Git Lab, Ansible, Tomcat, and Wild Fly; and hands-on experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to lead and support development teams with technical guidance while actively contributing as a lead developer.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and web security principles.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
  German and / or Spanish are a plus.
