Position: Support Workers (Railway Court)

Support Worker – Learning Disability/Mental Health

Location: Railway Court, Omagh, Northern Ireland

Post: Reserve List – Permanent/Temporary, Part‑time/Full‑time for Railway Court

Railway Court is a supported living accommodation providing care for up to 23 tenants with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Staff support 24 hours a year to develop skills and involve tenants in day‑to‑day decision making.

Essential Criteria
  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a formal care/support role with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
  • Currently registered with NISCC (or new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months).
  • Previous experience in administrative duties.
  • Willing to work towards completion of relevant qualification.

Formal Care / Support includes caring at home or voluntary work in a formal setting. This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Access NI check.
