Astec Europe are seeking a dynamic Spare Parts Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service across our growing parts business. This exciting role encompasses our Telestack parts business and our growth journey with other Astec Brands in Europe.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise the complete order‑to‑delivery for spare parts.
- Coach and develop a high‑performing team to support growth and operational excellence.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain order fulfilment targets of 95% and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop efficient inventory strategies to support our order fill rates.
- Oversee invoicing and collaborate closely with Finance on AP/AR processes.
- Partner with sourcing teams to secure competitive costs and favourable lead times.
- Manage freight and logistics partnerships to ensure cost‑effective, timely deliveries.
- Proven experience in equipment parts operations management.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a parts business.
- Demonstrate strong leadership/people management skills.
- Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- ERP system proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, multitasking, and communication abilities.
- Strong mathematical & analytical skills around inventory planning.
- Third‑level education (HND or above) in Business Management or related discipline.
- Background in Materials Processing or Crushing and Screening industry.
- Experience in process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating in an engineering environment.
