Main purpose of the job

Fit together purchased and painted parts to build pre-assemblies and full machines

Key duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the assembly of fabricated & purchased parts as part of the manufacturing process with focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery
• Assemble the product in line with assembly drawings/models
• Move between several operations as and when required to suit the business needs
• Responsible for the cleanliness of assemblies, work station and general working area
• Break down full machines suitable to containerise
• Ensure work is completed to the ISO
  9001 Quality Standard
• Responsible for complying with the H&S policies and procedures

Skills Needed

Accountable for safe operation of heavy machinery, hand & power tools, and strict adherence to safety standards.

• Proven ability to work as part of a team
