A typical day may include:

• Providing bookkeeping services for a wide range of clients, including sales, purchase and nominal ledger processing
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Preparing VAT returns
• Supporting clients with accounting software and helping them make the most of it
• Communicating with clients and managing their queries with confidence
• Preparing clear and useful reports for clients

We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:

• Solid experience managing ledgers and completing reconciliations
• Confidence with accounting software and a willingness to deepen your knowledge
• Strong client service skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• AAT Level 4 (preferred) or equivalent experience within a bookkeeping role

Payroll experience would be an advantage though not essential.

We are looking for someone who is organised, friendly, reliable and keen to learn.
