Our small boutique Accounting Firm client is looking for an Accountant to join their small firm. This is a Remote position with the responsibility to meet with clients to discuss financials. SAIPA Completed ARTICLES an added bonus

REMOTE POSITION – SALARY R 520 000 – R 560 000 (ALL INCLUSIVE) NEGOTIABLE DEPENDS

Requirements

10 years Bookkeeping/Accounting experience from an accounting firm prospective

Degree or Equivalent

SAIPA Completed Articles Program – don’t have to be a Registered SAIPA Accountant – ADDED BONUS

Work experience with PASTEL and SARS

Responsibilities

Full responsibility in respect of seeing clients with respect to financials

Accurate processing of various multiple clients Pastel income statement and balance sheet items

Income tax calculations, form completions and submission of returns (individuals, companies

and trusts)

Accurate processing of Pastel income statement and balance sheet items

Monthly journals and reconciliations of all general ledgers

Maintain fixed asset registers

Reconciliation of customer and supplier ledgers

VAT Reconciliations

Salary processing checking, journals and SARS reconciliations

Preparation of Financial Statements on Draft works

Supervising of junior accountants

Professional communication with colleagues and clients
