Senior Accountant – Public Accounting

Our client, a leading and progressive mid‑tier firm with multiple locations, including one in the Arctic region, is seeking a new Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This unique opportunity allows for full remote work from anywhere in the country, offering unparalleled flexibility throughout the year.

• Remote Work:
  Over three‑quarters of the team work remotely year‑round, providing a supportive and adaptable work environment.
• Travel Requirements:
  You will be required to visit the firm three times in the first couple of years. These trips are essential for becoming acquainted with the files and meeting with clients in person, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and integration into the team. All expenses and accommodation are covered.
• Busy season:
  May through to August
• 80% Audit, 20% compilation NPO, Municipalities, Public Sector
• Open to full‑time salaried position or rolling contract for 8 to 10 months of year.
• Will progress to Manager and Senior Manager
• You are enrolled in the CPA or designated.

You have 4 to 5 years' experience in Public Accounting. You MUST have Audit and Compilation experience, experienced in preparation.

This position is ideal for a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant looking to leverage their skills in a flexible and innovative setting.

Salary up to $100,000 or hourly contract rate.
