Part Time Bookkeeper

I am now recruiting for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join an established owner managed SME with offices based in Wetherby!

The role would be ideally suited to an experienced Bookkeeper with a good knowledge of Quickbooks looking for a part time role 2-3 days per week with a local and reputable business that offers flexibility and autonomy.

The role will be standalone working on Quickbooks taking responsibility for all the day to day accounts for the business.

It requires 2-3 days per week, which can be flexible between being office and home based.

Reporting to the owners the duties will include:

• Completing bookkeeping timely and accurately on Quick Books
• Purchase and sales ledger processing
• VAT Returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of payroll
• Preparation of CIS Returns
• Liaising with HMRC on VAT and payroll queries

• Be an experienced Bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role - Essential
• Have an excellent working knowledge of Quickbooks - Essential
• Be comfortable with complex reconciliations such as CIS and VAT - Essential

• Option to work 1 day per week from home
• Flexible on days/hours worked
• On site parking
