About the roleArcora is looking for a hands‑on, quality‑driven Senior Accountant to support our full‑cycle accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial information. In this role, you’ll report to the Vice President of Operational Excellence and work closely with the Director of Finance & Human Resources. You’ll be responsible for reconciliations, cash flow tracking and month‑end close activities, while also supporting budgeting, reporting and light HR/payroll administration.

- Manage full‑cycle accounting in Quick Books, including entries, AP/AR support and reconciliations.
- Complete month‑end close and prepare supporting working papers and reports.
- Track cash flow and maintain proper controls and documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with Operations, HR and the Director of Finance & Human Resources to keep workflows aligned and efficient.
- Assist with payroll and financial aspects of HR policies.
- Recommend practical improvements and use basic automation tools to streamline processes.
- Accurate, reliable financial records that leadership trusts for decision‑making.
- Smooth, on‑time month‑end closes with clear documentation.
- Strong cash flow visibility and well‑maintained controls.
- Improved accounting processes and reduced manual work.
- Effective cross‑functional collaboration that strengthens Finance, HR and Operations.
- 3–5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience (service environment preferred).
- Early‑career CPA or CPA candidate (asset).
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books and sound knowledge of accounting principles.
- High attention to detail, organization and problem‑solving.
- Analytical, data‑driven accounting skills with strong BI/reporting expertise.
- Tech savvy (including AI) and the ability to build clear, reliable dashboards that drive insight, accuracy and operational decision‑making.
You’ll own the core accounting engine, support strategic financial workflows and contribute to modernizing tools and processes.
