We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a remote (work from home) basis
. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is a MUST
. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and prior experience in a construction, interior fit-out, or technical services company.
- Maintain complete accounting records using Zoho Books (MUST)
- Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries
- Manage UAE VAT compliance
- VAT returns submission
- Input & output VAT reconciliation
- FTA compliance and documentation
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
) - Handle project-based accounting
, including costing, retention, and variations - Manage customer and supplier accounts, payments, and reconciliations
- Support audits and provide required financial documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years accounting experience in the UAE
- Zoho Books experience is mandatory (applications without Zoho Books experience will not be considered)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & FTA regulations
- Previous experience in a construction / interior fit-out / technical services company is highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Experience with project costing, retention, and subcontractor accounting
- Familiarity with Zoho Projects / Zoho Inventory is an advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
