We’re supporting a growing, reputable firm in hiring an Accountant to join their expanding team.

This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to work directly with diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

* Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals, and adjustments

* Prepare and submit VAT returns and management accounts

* Assist with year-end accounts and financial reports

* Liaise directly with clients, HMRC, and external stakeholders

* Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality financial output

What We’re Looking For

* Background as an Accountant in practice or multi-client environment

* Strong experience with Xero or other cloud accounting software

* Solid understanding of VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Confident communicator with client-facing experience

* Ideally AAT qualified / QBE / Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA)
