Description: Joining as a Qualified Senior Accountant – Farming Sector Clients you will be based in the Taunton offices. You will take responsibility for providing accounting, tax, and added‑value planning and advisory project services to a mixed and varied client base of agricultural and rural sector focused clients. You will carve a key role in this growing department, with increasing responsibility and client contact, and a route to management with genuine prospects for career progression.

There is scope for a client‑facing role, developing relationships, and identifying areas for advice and working with clients and the wider team on delivery of added value work.

Profile: Candidates should hold ACA, ACCA, CTA, etc. qualifications and have a background in accountancy practice developed within a large top tier/mid tier or a regional independent firm. Recent expertise in agricultural sector accounting or a clear demonstrable link to the sector (e.g., family background) is preferred. A genuine interest in specialising in this sector, drive to add value, and ambition to progress in a leading firm are key.

Job

Offer:

£35,000 – £45,000 negotiable, plus benefits, dependent on experience and background.
