• Lead the development and analysis of management reports, including P&L statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.
• Analyze cost accounting data, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement financial models to support decision‑making for new projects and investments.
• Prepare monthly financial close activities related to management accounting.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for management reporting.
• Monitor financial performance and provide proactive insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain internal controls relevant to management accounting functions.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the finance team if applicable.
• Streamline and improve management accounting processes and reporting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA(SA) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in management accounting or cost accounting.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
