Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist | Temporary Project

Ashburn, VA | Hybrid | $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
6–9 month assignment | Immediate start

The Robert Joseph Group is recruiting an Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist for an immediate opening with a client in Ashburn, VA. This hands‑on assignment is approximately 70% accounts receivable and 30% accounts payable backup
. The schedule is four days in the Ashburn office and one day working from home each week.

• Prepare and process customer invoices.
• Post cash receipts and apply payments to the appropriate customer invoices.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to resolve billing and payment application questions.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable as needed.

• Hands‑on accounts receivable experience with customer billing and cash application.
• Experience supporting accounts payable and working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to start promptly and work onsite in Ashburn four days per week.

Preference will be given to candidates who have performed accounts payable functions in SAP. Candidates with solid experience in other accounting or ERP systems are encouraged to apply.
