Bayards Court is a place where life feels effortless for residents and the team alike – and that’s where you come in. As Office Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for smooth operations, handling everything from schedules and records to those little details that make a big difference.
This role is about more than admin – it’s about creating calm and clarity behind the scenes so others can focus on delivering exceptional care. If you’re proactive, highly organised and thrive on making things happen, we want to hear from you.
Your role- Provide efficient administrative support to ensure smooth care home operations
- Manage payroll, billing and resident financial arrangements accurately
- Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague record maintenance
- Assist with HR tasks, compliance checks and regulatory submissions
- Oversee procurement, stock control and financial processes
- Cover reception duties and conduct tours for prospective residents
- Prepare for audits and inspections with organised documentation
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions
- Promote collaboration across teams and model professional conduct
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proven administrative experience, including handling financial data and payroll
- Confident managing meetings, minute-taking and supporting revenue processes
- Experience supervising or managing colleagues
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
- Accurate record-keeping and clear information sharing
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
- Professional, flexible and respectful approach to residents and families
