Position: Procurement or Purchasing Support (f/m/d)
Location: Bourne End

Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch a career in procurement within the electronics industry. In this Procurement Support role you’ll receive structured on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world procurement challenges. You’ll work closely with experienced team members to support purchasing operations and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience in sourcing goods and services, and managing purchase orders
  • Shadow colleagues to learn about supplier management, data analysis, negotiation techniques, and commercial terms
  • Assist in preparing purchase orders and monitoring delivery schedules
  • Help maintain accurate records of suppliers, products, and pricing
  • Enter procurement data into ERP systems and spreadsheets
  • Support the generation of reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Assist in resolving basic issues related to deliveries or product quality
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI tools to enhance procurement processes
