Operations Executive

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a well-established travel business in York who are recruiting an Operations Executive to join their team.

* The Role:

As Operations Executive, you will be the key link between international clients and a network of suppliers across Europe. You will manage the planning and delivery of group tours, ensuring every detail is handled seamlessly. The role involves coordinating all aspects of tours from initial enquiry to departure, resolving client concerns efficiently, and collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional travel experiences.

You Will Have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in tour operations or group travel logistics, ideally within the European market (essential)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team

• A-Level or equivalent (required)

• Excellent problem-solving skills
Additional Info:

• Salary £31-41,000 (depending on experience) plus bonuses and incentives

• Office based in York (4 days per week as you can work from home on Mondays!)
