Portfolio Insights Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, Financial Analyst, MI Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Data Insights, Analyst, Demand Management, PMO, MSP, Agile, Stakeholder engagement, Planview or equivalent, Reports, Permanent, Manchester based with some expensed travel to Sheffield (1/2 days a week).

Lithium3 are working with a fantastic large and growing business seeking a Portfolio Insights Analyst. This is a role to help the business prioritise projects/change requests by effectively managing MI and giving valid insights based on solid data analysis. The role is to be part of a small but growing team so you would be coming in at the right time to make your mark.

This position is a varied and requires someone good with stakeholders and ideally worked in a portfolio management area. It could work for the right Financial Analyst, Data insights analyst, PMO analyst or Data Manager looking for this kind of step.

Soft skill wise we need someone cool under pressure, analytical, not afraid of a challenge and extremely well organised.

Role wise we require someone comfortable with the below responsibilities:

• Produce quality assured enterprise portfolio management information (MI), ensuring it is an accurate reflection of the current state of the enterprise portfolio.
• Identify new, and assess existing risks, issues and opportunities at both a project and portfolio level, to enable the translation of the right information into Executive level reports.
• Work directly with project stakeholders to gather, organise and analyse financial data to determine, in detail, actual and forecast performance of each project against budget.
• Work with project / programme sponsors to analyse benefit delivery.
• Use the enterprise portfolio MI to identify and analyse trends, working with Programmes/Projects to understand root causes and developing options to address.
• Perform quality assurance activities across the enterprise portfolio through lessons learned, health checks and post implementation reviews.
• Work with the Portfolio Lead and key business stakeholders to understand, quality review, log and track new change demand from across all areas of the Business.
