Community Integrated Care is recruiting a Senior Business Development Partner to join our team on a 12‑month maternity cover contract covering our Midlands and Central business regions.
The Deal- Flexibility:
You can work your 37.5 hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or split the hours over 5 days. Work from home, a regional office, or a mix. Travel to various locations throughout the Midlands and support other regions when necessary. - Competitive Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (+£5k Car Allowance)

Our business development team is looking for a positive, energetic and creative individual to take on the role of Senior Business Development Partner in our Midlands/Central region. We are a welcoming and supporting team who value fun, commitment and teamwork. The role is varied and challenging with flexible working (37.5 hours over 4 days).
Travel will be a requirement. The ideal candidate must live in the Midlands area and have a good working knowledge of the commissioning landscape in health and social care in the region.
Responsibilities- Develop and present partnership proposals, working alongside the Director for Business Development to deliver bespoke bids, formal tenders and joint ventures where needed.
- Manage a portfolio of relationships, including commissioners, housing associations, public sector & corporate organisations, private funders and investors.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the sector, local markets, government initiatives and competitors.
- Progress diversification strategies and service redesign to meet the changing needs of the social care landscape and deliver 'best lives better'.
- Engage with our funders to ensure that our services are sustainable and have opportunities for collaborative redesign, always striving to improve and create efficiencies.
- Serve as a brand ambassador.
- Self‑motivated and proactive in seeking opportunities and partnerships.
- Visionary and able to deliver on strategy.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Comfortable with unexpected challenges.
- Enjoys variety in the role.
- Excellent communicator with existing relationships across the sector.
- Experience in business development within a social care organisation, ideally in learning disabilities or mental health – essential.
- Experience securing new business through competitive tendering.
- Strong people skills with a natural ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage a complex workload with shifting deadlines.
- Experience in managing budgets, financial planning and risk management.
- Deep knowledge of the care industry, including regulatory and contractual frameworks and government legislation.
