Documentation & Project Support Analyst

Contract:

6‑month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). Provide project management support for business‑as‑usual and change projects across the Corporation and Market Reserving & Capital (MRC) teams. Support MRC resourcing, planning and reporting, maintain documentation, SharePoint sites and analyze timesheet data.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of required deliverables within projects and work streams of wider programmes.
  • Support the planning and set‑up of projects, including project documentation curation.
  • Identify inter‑project dependencies, ensuring awareness of impacts, risks, issues and opportunities across MRC and the Corporation, and escalating when necessary.
  • Coordinate updates to detailed project plans and track actions against agreed timelines.
  • Support resourcing processes for the department: track and monitor resources across the team.
  • Assist in organising yearly and quarterly resource planning and prioritisation exercises.
  • Support the MRC Project Reporting cycle, assisting with production of management information for Heads of Departments and governance bodies (PRA, IMOC, etc.).
  • Provide project management guidance and ad‑hoc support to MRC Actuarial Project Leads.
  • Liaise and build relationships at all levels within the organisation, especially with the capital and risk functions, including heads of department, managers and analyst communities.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Working knowledge of project management, including reporting and controls.
  • Understanding of risk management, including maintaining risk and issues registers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with documentation branding, templates, standards, editing and version control.
  • Advanced MS Word and Excel skills to create and adjust templates.
  • Knowledge of the Lloyd’s and London insurance market (beneficial).
  • Experience working on projects within a change environment, such as reporting, audit trails and planning.
  • Experience in reporting and resource management in a PMO or Project role.
  • Experience reviewing documents against agreed criteria and providing feedback to authors.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
