Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial for assessing the impact and effectiveness of our client's programs and initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and generating reports that inform program improvement and strategic decision-making. As a remote-first position, you will collaborate virtually with program staff across various locations to ensure robust data collection and insightful analysis, working from your home office.

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and tools for various programs.
• Develop data collection methodologies, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from program activities.
• Prepare comprehensive M&E reports, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
• Provide technical assistance and training to program staff on M&E best practices.
• Contribute to the learning and adaptive management of programs based on evaluation findings.

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) , preferably within the non-profit or development sector.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills , with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
• Experience in designing M&E plans, tools, and indicators.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple M&E projects in a remote work environment .
