, Highways and Net-Zero/Carbon reduction projects. As a Trainee Materials Technician
, you’ll be working as part of a small team to ensure the effective delivery of the major construction projects within the United Kingdom, creating better connections for the local community.
- Working safely within the laboratory and on construction sites.
- Collaborating with team members to test the properties of construction materials including concrete, grout and aggregates.
- Improving the performance of existing products in place.
- Developing an understanding, knowledge and practical methods used to examine materials, including non‑destructive testing (NDT).
- Implementing established test methods to ensure quality and supporting the lab in maintaining its accreditation.
- Traveling to and from sites to collect materials for testing.
