Quantity Surveyor; Passive Fire

Position: Quantity Surveyor (Passive Fire)
Location: Southwark

About the Role:

My client are a market leading fire protection contractor seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their Major Projects Division. The role is based in Southwark, with a mix of office-based work, home working, and site visits. You will be responsible for working with the commercial team on passive fire protection contracts predominantly based in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the commercial aspects of major construction projects, with contracts valued up to £6m.

* Oversee project budgets, costs, and cash flow, ensuring commercial targets are met.

* Prepare cost reports, valuations, and financial forecasts for senior management.

* Negotiate contracts and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

* Support tendering and bid processes for major projects.

* Travel to sites across Central London

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Passive Fire contracts.

* Strong technical knowledge.

* Confident in managing budgets up to £6m.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
