About the Role

EnGarde Games is looking for a skilled and efficient Dialogue Writer for AI to craft high-impact, voice-ready dialogue for EnGarde World. You’ll write dynamic, branching conversations that both traditional story beats and reactive AI systems. Ideal candidates can produce polished scripts quickly, with minimal revisions, and understand the practical constraints of voiceover production and in‑game delivery.

• Write high-quality dialogue for characters and AI-driven systems in a fantasy RPG setting.
• Tailor scripts for voice acting, ensuring lines are concise, expressive, and record‑friendly.
• Collaborate with the narrative design team to maintain tonal consistency and branching paths.
• Revise and finalize scripts based on VO team feedback and implementation requirements.
• Track character voice, pacing, and dialogue variation across hundreds of lines.
• Integrate writing into tools or pipelines (Ink, custom editors, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Maintain tight turnaround times with high attention to detail.

• Strong creative writing background, with a focus on dialogue and character-driven storytelling.
• Experience writing for games, film, or interactive media (samples required).
• Understanding of constraints related to voice acting, localization, and audio implementation.
• Ability to produce and revise scripts rapidly within tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working with limited revisions and high delivery expectations.
• Bonus:
  Familiarity with AI-assisted dialogue systems or dynamic response frameworks.

• Deliver batches of polished dialogue content on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Achieve integration‑ready, VO‑compliant dialogue with minimal revisions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the VO and narrative teams across time zones.
• Contribute meaningfully to tone, pacing, and immersion through tight, characterful writing.

• Salary Range: €35,000 – €50,000 annually (or contract rate equivalent, depending on terms)
