Grey is a fast-growing fintech building a borderless banking experience and a premium editorial brand. The Senior Content Writer will be a senior member of the content team, owning high quality editorial output and guiding the tone and style across features, thought leadership, and newsletters.
What you'll do- Deliver high-impact editorial work including thought leadership, brand storytelling, feature narratives, and long-form pieces
- Source, interview, and collaborate with freelancers, founders, remote workers, and Grey’s community
- Produce landing pages, product launch content, and feature announcements
- Write in Grey's premium editorial voice with rigorous self-editing and minimal rewriting
- Own or co-own The Gig Economy newsletter end-to-end from planning to send
- Provide first-pass editorial review for contract writers and contribute to the editorial style guide
- 3+ years of professional writing experience in content marketing, editorial, journalism, or brand communications
- Portfolio showing range across features, profiles or interviews, product landing pages, and a newsletter with consistent brand voice
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to spot strong angles and develop them with reporting
- Experience writing for digital audiences and long-form SEO content from keyword briefs
- Ability to structure articles around search intent and produce formats like comparisons, listicles, and FAQ sections
- Experience coordinating with SEO, product marketing, and editorial teams to maintain accuracy and tone
