Base Salary £28,000 OTE £40,0000 + Great Benefits

Hybrid - Cheshire or fully remote within the UK

Our client is an award-winning flight consolidator who work exclusively with travel trade partners.

They work with over 1000 travel agent and tour operations partners offering over a 1500 negotiated fares from all the world's major airlines.

Due to growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for an experienced a detail-oriented and customer-focused Flights Consultant to their team.

The Flights Consultant will be responsible for managing and booking all air travel for their travel trade clients offering the highest levels of customer service.

To be considered, candidates must have previous travel industry experience in booking flights with knowledge of a major GDS with excellent knowledge of flights and fares.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis
-Cheshire or fully remote within the UK.

Flights Consultant

Duties and Responsibilities:

Book and manage flight reservations for clients

Coordinate group air blocks as well as individual bookings, depending on customer needs

Managinge flight cancellations and schedule changes, ensuring timely rebooking and clear communication to all clients.

Flights Consultant Experience

Required:

Experience booking flights in a travel agency, tour operator, or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of GDS systems - Travelport or Amadeus

Excellent knowledge of net fares, seat only, ITX and published fares

Experience in exchanges, refunds, schedule changes, manual fare builds etc

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A customer-first mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.

Flights Consultant Base Salary and Benefits:

Base Salary of £28,000 + Commission OTE £40.000

Hybrid working or fully remote working within the UK

22 days holiday a year plus bank holidays

Pension scheme

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, Saturdays on a rota basis 10-4 with a day off in lieu

No Sundays or Bank Holidays
