Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Join our client's dedicated team as a Remote Call Centre Agent, where you'll be the reassuring voice on the other end of the line for vulnerable individuals and sheltered housing residents during times of need.
What You'll Be Doing:
Respond promptly and professionally to emergency alarm calls, acting as the first point of contact.
Provide support and reassurance to sheltered housing residents and those living independently.
Handle up to 300 calls daily with empathy, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
Navigate challenging conversations with care and composure, turning difficult moments into supportive experiences.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in every interaction.
Collaborate with a supportive team in a positive, remote working environment.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Previous experience in a call centre environment.
Proven ability to manage high volumes of inbound calls.
Background in sectors such as Local Authorities, Emergency Services, retail call centres, or BT control centres is highly desirable.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Calm, patient, and tactful under pressure.
Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable.
Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative.
Shift Details:
Separate roles available for early and late shifts.
Shifts scheduled between 06:00-00:00, with rotas provided 6 weeks in advance.
Weekend work required every other week, plus some bank holidays (with time off in lieu).Benefits:

Recruitment Process:
